Maldives

Where To Stay

I stayed at the Hard Rock, and would definitely stay here again. Budget and Maldives don’t really go together well.. but staying here you can take a boat and have no need for a sea plane which automatically will save you about $300 per person. The resort is gorgeous. The water is crystal clear. Calm and lively. You can snorkel right at the beach, no need to do a snorkeling excursion unless you really want to. There’s an included breakfast buffet and multiple dining options. The hotel does offer a bunch of excursions. Think water sports, any Watersport you can imagine, they have. They have diving, snorkeling, swimming with whales, sharks, almost anything you can think of they offer. There’s multiple pools, and a giant water slide I may or may not have been the only adult going down.

“They won’t remember it” is such a small way to think about growing a human. Kids don’t need perfect recall to benefit from experience. Their brains are wiring curiosity. Their nervous systems are learning safety in the unknown. Their bodies are syncing to rhythm, language, and joy. Memory isn’t the point. Development is. If you’re raising kids and raising your standards for life — you’re in the right place. 🤍🌍 👉 Follow for slow travel, real parenting, and proof you don’t have to choose.

Things To Do first of all do you see these beautiful photos? The resort has a photographer and you can book a photoshoot, which is actually very affordable 10/10 recommend. Things to do depend very heavily upon what hotel you decide to stay at because not everywhere is accessible. For help with things to do please reach out to me and let me know where you’ll be staying and I can help provide you with activities near you.
